Peak 4

Peak 4 - Virtual tour

Dream big

Day-time Layout

The front seats swivel to make a large front lounge. The front drop-down bed is tucked away in the ceiling during the day to maximise the living area.

Night-time Layout

The fixed rear beds are made up and ready to use. The singles can be set up into one extra large double bed. The comfortable front double bed drops down at night.

Family Layout

You can put the children to bed in the rear and draw the curtain giving them a peaceful and quiet space while you relax upfront. The second double bed above the living area is ideal for the adults.

At 7.4m long, the Peak 4 is the biggest in our fleet (along with the Outback 4) so if space is important to you then look no further. What’s more, you even have three different bed configurations so whatever sleeping arrangement you prefer, chances are this motorhome will deliver. Like the Alpine range, it has two singles in the rear but with the added bonus that the singles can be set up into a super big double bed (more than half a metre wider than most double beds in a motorhome). Add a double bed that drops down over the living area and you’ve got loads of options. You'll be comfortable in winter or summer with the double-glazed windows, full insulation and powerful heater.

Our motorhomes: what makes them special

Our motorhomes: design and comfort

Our motorhomes: bathroom and bedroom

Our motorhomes: freedom camping

The chassis has been specially designed for motorhome conversion so the body is wider than van conversions and the ride is much more comfortable. It's packed with clever European design features like the swivelling pilot seats, memory foam mattress, loads of cupboards and drawers, a spacious bathroom and a large external locker for extra storage.

Space and More Space

Being the biggest in the fleet has its advantages. Not only does the Peak 4 have the biggest double bed you'll find in a rental motorhome, but there's plenty of room to move around as well. You can comfortably invite your friends in or spread out yourself since the combination of the L-shaped seating area and the swivelling driver and passenger seats provide plenty of room around the large table.

Latest Design Features

The Peak 4 comes with the most up-to-date features in European designed motorhomes including tinted and double-glazed windows, quiet and powerful central heating, reversing camera, central locking and LED lighting. In addition, this model comes with a new era entertainment system including 19" LCD screen, DVD player, USB input for your external hard drive, and FM transmitter for surround sound.

At Home in the Wilderness

The Peak may look like it comes from the city but it's as at home in the wilderness as it is the suburbs. When you're planning to explore the remote and untouched corners of New Zealand, you need a motorhome with long-life batteries, an inverter that charges your devices and appliances that work without being hooked up to mains power, plus a powerful heating system. Insect screens on the windows and living compartment door keep the bugs out. Forget the crowded holiday parks - wake up to a gentle sunrise miles from civilization in the comfort of a Peak 4.

Four Season Camping

The Peak 4 is as comfortable in cooler months as it is in the height of summer. The full insulation, including insulated windows, plus the central gas and electric heating will keep you warm as toast when the weather gets cooler.

Rest and Relaxation

Because the lounge is a lounge and the bed is a bed in the Peak motorhome, your sleep is more comfortable and your relaxing time is more relaxing. In a traditional motorhome, the lounge converts to the main bed so compromises are made. In the Peak, the extra long double bed has a super comfortable memory foam flex mattress which you'll find as easy to sleep on as your bed at home.

It's All About the Drive

You'll be spending a large portion of your road trip either driving or being driven in your motorhome so you'll want to know that it's comfortable and safe. All our German manufactured motorhomes are built on the powerful Fiat Ducato 2.3L turbo diesel chassis – the only vehicle specifically designed for campervan conversion. The 320N of torque will give you all the power you need to tackle any mountain pass. Now with automatic transmission and cruise control, you can relax at the wheel or shift into sport mode for optimal performance. You'll be relieved to know that it comes with all the latest safety features including ABS/ABR (the wheels won't skid on full braking and won't slip when you accelerate), wide-track rear axle for stability, and dual airbags. The cab has more room, more visibility, better ergonomics and functionality, more drawers and storage compartments, more shelves, more comfortable seats for driver and passengers, and less noise than motorhomes built on vehicles other than Fiat.
