Cruise 4

Cruise 4 - Virtual tour

The vacation of a lifetime

Daytime Layout

The front seats swivel to make a large front lounge. The drop down bed tucks away in the ceiling during the day.

Nighttime Layout

You don’t have to make up your bed every night as the Cruise 4 has a permanent island bed with access from both sides. Simply lower the drop down bed up front and you have an extra haven to relax in.

Family Layout

You can put the children to bed in the rear while you relax up front. The second double bed above the living area has the same quality memory foam mattress as the rear bed.

Choosing the perfect vacation isn’t easy. But you will get more than you bargained for with the Cruise 4. Designed and built in Germany, this will be your hotel room on wheels. The permanent island bed in the rear means your room is right there and ready for you at the end of a long day. The wraparound lounge with swivelling pilot seats gives you space to spread out and relax. The kitchen will make cooking a pleasure, complete with 3 gas hobs and a large fridge/freezer. This functional, sophisticated motorhome is perfect for exploring the backcountry of New Zealand.

Our motorhomes: what makes them special

Our motorhomes: design and comfort

Our motorhomes: bathroom and bedroom

Our motorhomes: freedom camping

The chassis has been specially designed for motorhome conversion so the body is wider than van conversions and the ride is much more comfortable. It's packed with clever European design features like the swivelling pilot seats, memory foam mattress, loads of cupboards and drawers, and a spacious bathroom that converts to a drying room.

European Design Benchmark

These German manufactured motorhomes not only look stunning, they incorporate all the design features and technology standard in motorhomes built for private owners but virtually unheard of in a rental motorhome. The pilot seats in the front cab rotate to give you additional seating around the dining table, the windows are tinted and double-glazed for added warmth, and the lighting is all top-of-the-line LED. Not only does the sofa look more comfortable than standard seating in a rental motorhome - it is more comfortable. That’s because the lounge doesn’t have to double as a bedroom so the sofa is designed for seating comfort – not dual purpose seating and sleeping.

Dedicated Bedroom Space

Traditionally, in campervans, the lounge needs to be made up into a bed every night after an active day. That’s the compromise of sleeping in a dual purpose lounge/bedroom. The Cruise 4 has a dedicated bedroom with an island bed. You can access the bed from both sides and you get to sleep on a super comfortable thick cold foam mattress. Because the bed is permanently made up, you can sneak off for a snooze anytime, anywhere.

Winter Comfort

Unlike most motorhomes, the Cruise 4 is comfortable for touring all year round. The full insulation, including double-glazed windows, plus the central gas and electric heating will keep you warm in winter. The bathroom can be used as a drying room. The heater outlet supplies warm air, providing express drying for towels and clothing. It’s easy to spot the motorhomes that don’t have drying rooms – they’re the ones with underwear hanging from the wing mirrors!

Ready for Remote Camping

Don’t worry about squeezing in with other campers in a crowded camping ground, the Cruise 4 is designed to get you to New Zealand’s wildest locations and stay there. It’s built to give you the freedom to camp over anywhere - without being reliant on 240V mains power. The long life energy system combined with a 600W inverter (which enables you to use or charge your electrical appliances) give you the power you need to last for days without starting the engine or connecting to mains power. The batteries supply the power and the inverter transforms it into the current you need to run the appliances and equipment.

Unique Space Concept

You can comfortably invite your friends in or spread out yourself since the combination of the seating area and the swivelling driver and passenger seats provide plenty of room around the large table.

It's All About the Drive

You'll be spending a large portion of your road trip either driving or being driven in your motorhome so you'll want to know that it's comfortable and safe. All our Bürstner motorhomes are built on the powerful Fiat Ducato 2.3L turbo diesel chassis – specifically designed for campervan conversion. The 320N of torque will give you all the power you need to tackle any mountain pass. Now with automatic transmission and cruise control, you can relax at the wheel or shift into sport mode for optimal performance. You'll be relieved to know that it comes with all the latest safety features including ABS/ABR (the wheels won't skid on full braking and won't slip when you accelerate), wide-track rear axle for stability, and airbags. The cab has more room, more visibility, better ergonomics and functionality, more drawers and storage compartments, more shelves, more comfortable seats for driver and passengers, and less noise than motorhomes built on vehicles other than Fiat. So sit back, flick on the cruise control and enjoy your escape into the wilderness.
