Your choice of one large bed or twin beds

Longer than our Compact for 2 but still relatively short in length, the two berth Compact Plus motorhome features a significantly bigger bed — when set up as a king size.

However, if you and your travel partner prefer twin beds rather than a single king, this layout is also possible with benefits like:

• Sleeping separately — to rest well for the next day’s adventures
• Not waking your travel partner — by climbing over him or her to get in or out of bed.

If you intend to travel with your spouse or partner and like the idea of having a large bed to stretch out into and recharge every night, the Compact Plus is a great choice. The large bed fits because it’s located in the rear of the motorhome and spans from one side wall to the other.

Drivability of the Compact Plus

Like its counterpart, the Compact for 2, our Compact Plus motorhome can be driven effortlessly on many narrow, winding roads where steering longer RVs may be more challenging. The Compact Plus measures 6.7 metres long — relatively short compared to the 7.4m rental motorhomes in our fleet.

The Compact Plus will make navigating New Zealand's diverse terrain a joy — whether you've rented campervans or motorhomes before or are completely new to this kind of experience.

It won’t take you long to become more assured behind the wheel. Before long, you’ll feel like you’re handling a car when travelling between cities and passing through them.

Parking with confidence

Our Compact Plus motorhome is like the Compact for 2 — it’s easy to park. The advantages of driving an RV that’s a little simpler to park are:

• Manoeuvrability — easier to drive through crowded camping grounds and park in allocated spaces
• More parking options — including being able to fit in parks not designed specifically for recreational vehicles
• Confidence — you’ll quickly become more confident in parking and endure less stress.

Due to the shorter length of the Compact Plus, taking your motorhome between islands on the Cook Strait ferry will cost slightly less.

The spaciousness of the Compact Plus

The Compact Plus can sleep two people in the vehicle's rear and has a combined bathroom with a swivel door separating the dry bathroom from the wet shower. These aspects, along with the open kitchen area, give the motorhome a feeling of spaciousness.

Every interior part has been designed to optimise space while ensuring comfort and convenience remain top priorities.

Open plan layout

The Compact Plus offers an open kitchen area without a dividing wall between the kitchen and the bedroom. If you enjoy cooking, this space may be more appealing for creating your favourite meals.
