Our Wilderness campervans have everything you need to travel comfortably included in the base price, with no extra charges for basics like bedding or kitchen equipment. We’ve even got you covered for making your morning coffee. Here’s what’s included in your hire:
Sheets, duvets (doonas), blankets, and pillows to keep you cosy and clothes hangers for when you unpack.
A full gas bottle, plus crockery, cutlery, cups, glasses, bowls, pots, pans, and cooking utensils. A coffee plunger and kettle will set you up for the morning. There’s also a dish cloth and brush, tea towels, dustpan and brush, and a fire extinguisher.
Bath towels (as many as you’d like), toilet paper roll, water refilling hose, and toilet chemicals.
We’ll pick you up from the airport or your Auckland or Christchurch airport hotel at the beginning of your hire and drop you off again at the end.

Three fantastic weeks travelling the North and South Islands in a double for two. We had a problem on the road that was solved over the phone. Very comfortable bed, spacious shower and everything needed to feel at home.

If you’re going to really enjoy living in a recreational vehicle for a few weeks holiday, you’ll want it to have a spacious living area. The Double for 2 meets that high standard as one of the longest motorhomes in our fleet, enabling a roomy couch-couch living space layout.
This wraparound-style lounge comfortably seats six people around its central dining table — two on the roadside, two on the curbside and two in the swivel cab seats.

Great company to hire a motorhome from. The vehicles are in excellent condition, well maintained, top comfort inside with lovely heating throughout. You will never be cold inside at night!
We hired a Double for 2 motorhome in the middle of winter. The shower worked great for the size — with the towels left to hang and dry overnight. There was a good-sized kitchen with a large fridge, including a small oven with a gas hob. It was great for whipping up meals on the road! Look forward to hiring again! :)

My wife and I recently spent 12 days driving around the North Island in a Wilderness Motorhome. We rented the double for two. From the moment we picked it up, we were impressed by the quality of service and attention we received. Our motorhome was clean and ran flawlessly.
We had a couple of issues on the road and they were promptly addressed and even followed up the next day. The WiFi worked 99% of the time — even when we were in the middle of nowhere.
I would highly recommend Wilderness for your journey exploring New Zealand. We can't wait to return and will definitely be using them again!
